Premium Sako Cartridges – now available in the US
Sako is one of the few manufacturers producing both rifles and cartridges. This means our cartridges are among the most tested cartridges in the world. Our cartridge manufacturing started in 1928, and even though high technology has since been introduced, we strive to maintain the high level of uncompromising craftsmanship of our early years. Due to popular demand, Sako Cartridges are now available also in the US.
Quality materials and latest technology
As hunters, the premium quality of our products is always a matter of pride for us. To ensure the consistency in quality, we use only high-quality raw materials and components, and utilize modern computer-aided R&D, CNC manufacturing methods and automatic inspection machines. In addition, each individual brass case and cartridge is examined by hand and machine for quality assurance purposes.
Unrivaled accuracy and consistent performance
All Sako and Tikka rifles and cartridges are tested to guarantee 1 MOA or better accuracy - straight out of the box. Our products are continuously tested for Sako’s high standards on accuracy, performance, stopping power and reliability.
PRECISION LOADING OF ONLY THE BEST QUALITY COMPONENTS
Every bullet and case is individually inspected, the deviation of the highest quality single-base powder charge is minimized and the ignition time of the primers remains constant, providing quality that exceeds the precision of handloading.
Due to a proprietary heat treatment method, as well as zero impurities of the case material, our cartridges have the highest reloadability and pressure resistance in the industry, maximizing the lifespan and safety of any rifle. All hunting loads and bullets are developed at the Sako ballistics laboratory. They are tested during real big-game hunts for optimal weight retention and double-diameter mushrooming for maximum impact.
